Sony WF-1000XM3 true wireless earbuds, the price is close to the previous model. Just a little higher, but comes with full features and premium specifications. Ideal for both those who are Sony fan club and not. Those who are looking for true wireless noise-canceling earbuds that come in a nice shape, are easy and comfortable. Sony WF-1000XM3 fits in my ears (I use ear tips size M), even if I move hard, the earbuds won’t come off easily. Don’t worry about earbuds that will fit in your ear? because Sony prepares 4 different sizes (SS, S, M, L). This helps the earbuds not loose from your ears.
You can trust Sony in noise cancellation features. The WF-1000XM3 does not make me disappointed, the active noise-canceling without causing tinnitus and great noise block out from outside. The ANC features you can adjust via the Sony app.
The wireless connection with Bluetooth 5.0 is stable and lets you watch YouTube and Netflix without delay. Besides, the Sony WF-1000XM3 has features of touch control, easy to use. Maximum playtime up to 32 hours (depending on volume level).
Moreover, if you want to adjust the equalizer, the WF-1000XM3 still allows you to do it, but have to adjust it via the Sony Headphones Connect app. This option does not include in most wireless earbuds these days.
Like some of the other high-end wireless earbuds such as Powerbeats Pro, wearing detection features that automatically pause and resume when you take off the earbuds and put in back in your ears.
Some flaws of Sony WF-1000XM3 that I found, there’s no support for aptX HD and LDAC. It only supports AAC and SBC in the A2DP codec which uses a 24-bit audio processor, not a 32-bit like found in the Sony WH-1000XM3.
Battery Life & Fast Charging
As the above mention, the WF-1000XM3 gives you 6 hours per charge which is better than one of the rivals like Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless offers only 4 hours per charge. And if you are in a quiet place or your home and you do not need to use the ANC feature altogether, you will get more than a couple of hours. With the charging case, these ANC wireless earbuds provide up to 24 hours of playtime.
For these wireless earbuds under $200 don’t forget the quick charge feature. Just plug in for 10 minutes and you will get more power around one and half hours or 90 minutes. With the USB-C charging, a full charge of WF-1000XM3 uses time for 3 hours.
