Sennheiser has excellent audio quality. For example, the Sennheiser HD 600 Open Back professional headphones include lightweight aluminum voice coils for high-speed transient response and ferrous neodymium magnets for highly sensitive dynamic output.
You will not have to worry about frayed cables with the Kevlar-reinforced removable copper cable in these headphones. The elegant design of these headphones and the subtle black and gray finish give them an exceptional look and sound. With these stylish headphones, you can wear them everywhere, whether in the studio, on the move, in a café or just to relax at home.
The Sennheiser HD 600 produces the most surprisingly detailed sound I have ever tested and listened to. However; I need to say the truth is that piano music sounds more beautiful on the HD 600, the lows frequency reduced and less than HD 650. That means the fullness of the lows a little disappear but can be noticed that it disappeared. In my personal opinion, the Sennheiser HD 600 seems to fare better with female vocals than males. The HD 600 is quite perfectly lustrous for acoustic guitar and the HD 650 is as well.
Ok, we will focus on some of the good things and the not-good things of Sennheiser HD 600.
Sennheiser HD 650 Review – Pros & Cons
Pros
- Excellent bass.
- Solid build quality.
- Perfect sound stage.
- The sounds are airy and detailed.
- Comfortable to wear.
- Detachable cable.
- Great mid-range tones.
- The voices are clear and sharp.
Cons
- The bass is not present. You may need to purchase a subwoofer separately if you are particularly interested in bass.
- Its clarity brings out the smallest defects of recording and music. So, this may not be everyone.
- Treble could be better, especially in higher registers.
- Not ideal for noisy environments or traveling because these headphones tend to lose sound.
- Require a good amp to deliver good sound and quality.
Sennheiser HD 600 Review – Final Guide
The Sennheiser HD 600 is neutral and precise in terms of sound. Everything seems like it is and there is no further distortion or coloring whatsoever. There is only a slight loss of low-frequency sound when compared to the HD 650. However; these Sennheiser HD 600 Audiophile Hi-Res Open-Back headphones are ideal for serious listening, soft rock, mixing, and instrumental music.
